Statement of Faith

1. The Father, whose power to exist is drawn from Himself alone and therefore, He needs nothing from outside of Himself. He is the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
2. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who was begotten of His Father before all worlds and who for our salvation came down from heaven to be born of the Virgin Mary. He was fully man yet fully God and lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for our sins, but on the third day He rose again and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father. Our Lord Jesus Christ shall come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead and reign for ever.
3. The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Holy Trinity sent by the Father to bear witness to His Son. Without the witness of the Holy Spirit our work and witness is futile.  Conviction of sin, faith in Christ, new birth and Christian growth are all His work.
4. We believe that the Bible is the only sufficient, certain and infallible rule for all saving knowledge, faith and obedience. We believe that the infallible rule for the interpretation of Scripture is Scripture itself and therefore, whenever there is a question concerning the true sense of any Scripture, it must be answered by other passages which speak more clearly.
